If you’ve ever put a bird feeder in your lawn and witnessed larger birds arrive and toss most of the seeds on the ground, you’ve likely seen common grackles! They’re often seen as bullies towards smaller birds but I wanted to capture them in a different light. Here is a pair of adult males, their iridescent blue heads shimmering in the sunlight.
